I swear the birds in my neighbourhood don’t want me to sleep… Well, who am I to disappoint the birds?

My doctor didn’t seem to understand how sunlight really, really doesn’t affect my sleep schedule or that sleeping through the vast majority of daylight hours is not my ideal situation.

Got hit with this over the weekend. I can barely sleep in my own bed, sleeping at a stranger’s house is pretty much out of the question.

Not sure how many people will relate to this one, but since you asked for more diversity I thought I would. I’m not sure if this officially a disorder or not either.
As well as suffering from insomnia, in the rare fleeting moments that I do sleep, I will more often than not be woken up because I’m so cold from being soaked in sweat, and have to change my damp clothes and sheets..

Googled it. It’s called Sleep Hyperhidrosis. It is a thing!
